Remote Paralegal (Part-Time)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented
Paralegal
with 5-7 years of experience to support legal projects on an as-needed basis. The role involves formatting appellate complaints and briefs, filing legal documents, and supporting various legal administrative functions
Responsibilities:
Draft, format, and proofread appellate complaints and briefs
Accurately file documents and complaints electronically (e-filing)
Maintain organized legal records and case files
Conduct legal research using online databases and legal libraries
Assist in legal writing and preparation of formal legal documents
Support administrative and organizational legal tasks
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all legal standards
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5-7 years of paralegal experience
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and documentation
Proficiency in legal research tools and databases (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw)
Excellent writing, grammar, and legal formatting skills
Experience with appellate work and the Law of Chancellor preferred
Strong administrative and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently from home with minimal supervision
Reliable computer, internet, and document management setup
Work Conditions:
Flexible schedule, remote work
Average workload: 5-7 hours per week
Paid by project upon successful and timely completion
