Plaintiff's Boutique Personal Injury is seeking a skilled and dedicated Legal Assistant or Litigation Paralegal to join our small and established litigation firm, handling in plaintiff's personal injury cases with an emphasis on nursing home abuse litigation. This position plays a vital role in supporting attorneys through every phase of the litigation process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Document Preparation and Filing:
Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Prepare and finalize subpoenas, complaints, mediation memoranda, and other legal documents.
File court documents electronically in state and federal courts, as needed.

Discovery Process:
Assist in coordinating discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories,
document requests, and depositions.
Organize and manage discovery documents, including medical records, bills, and accident reports.
Communicate with clients to gather information and documents relevant to their case.

Client Communication:
Serve as a primary contact for clients, providing updates and answering questions regarding their case status.

Case Management:
Coordinate with legal assistant to track deadlines, court dates, and ensure all case files are current and accurately maintained.
Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, specifically in personal injury, nursing home and/or medical malpractice law. Familiarity with plaintiff-side litigation preferred.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, case management software, and e-filing systems. Strong understanding of court rules and procedures.

Soft Skills:
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
