Associate Attorney


Arnoux Sharma Standeford, LLC is looking for a full-time associate attorney with 1-3 years of experience. You would join a team of associates and work with 3 partners. Our firm handles multi-faceted cases representing high asset individuals with complex financials, parental allocation/custody, and international family law cases. The ideal candidate would have excellent writing and analytical skills, a high level of financial understanding, and the ability to strategize to resolve a case. You must be self-driven and able to work as a team.

Associate Attorney responsibilities


Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as prenuptials, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements.

Conduct legal research, prepare for, and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys.

Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients.

Communicate with partners, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently.

Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

Associate Attorney qualifications


Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school

Successful completion of the Illinois State Bar exam

Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base

Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys

Must be licensed to practice law in Illinois.
