Litigation Attorney - Latimer LeVay Fyock LLC
LATIMER LEVAY FYOCK LLC seeks an attorney for our growing Litigation Practice. We are looking for a motivated and committed individual with a strong work ethic who will be comfortable assuming responsibility for managing challenging cases.
This is a valuable opportunity to be involved in all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, depositions, motion practice, and trials.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
Ability to effectively manage a caseload and work independently.
Qualifications:
1 - 3 Plus years of Litigation experience
Ideal candidate would have solid experience in commercial litigation including contract disputes, real estate and commercial foreclosure, employment, and general business litigation
Experience in written and oral advocacy, brief writing, research, and court appearances
Experience answering discovery, trial, and mediation preparation
Analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and manage a large volume of concurrent priorities.
J.D., licensed to practice in Illinois
We offer competitive compensation, medical benefits, a 401(k) plan, and a casual and congenial work environment. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $125,000, subject to experience.
