We have an immediate need for an energetic, conscientious, detail-oriented, organized, motivated, articulate, personable legal secretary with excellent writing and communication skills to join our boutique, AV-rated, 20 year old, Loop defense tort litigation firm which recently expanded to Nashville, Tennessee.
You will have day to day, responsibility with supervision and mentoring. Your responsibilities include:
Preparing pleadings, motions, discovery on state and federal cases
Scheduling and confirming depositions
Working with retained experts
Preparing all types of subpeonas, discovery and discovery responses
Assisting attorneys preparing for jury trials, mandatory arbitrations and mediations
Regular, frequent written and verbal communication with our clients
Assisting on monthly billing and accounts receivable and payable
