Salary Range: Slightly above competitive salaries depending on years of experience.
OPPORTUNITY | Associate Attorney
Stein & Stein, Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated, diligent Associate Attorney with at least three (3) years strong matrimonial experience and an eagerness to succeed. Must be licensed to practice in Illinois courts.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with the following:
Proactively work independently and as part of a team;
Demonstrate strong legal research and analytical skills;
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Display strong attention to detail with superb organization and prioritization skills;
Show an ability to move from case to case;
Confirm proficiency with MS Office including Excel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The individual will be responsible for handling a caseload from inception to trial under the direction of a partner including the following tasks:
Analyze complex financial records;
Draft, prepare and handle, motions;
Conduct legal research competently and with proficiency;
Prepare and take depositions of experts
Review client documents, draft case evaluations and status report correspondence;
