Family Law Associate Attorney or Of Counsel
A boutique family law firm in Hinsdale, IL, is seeking an experienced family law associate attorney or of counsel. This position requires working independently in reviewing, drafting, filing legal documents, communicating with clients, and attending hearings in the various courts surrounding Chicago, IL (DuPage, Will, Kane, Lake, Cook, etc.).
Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to multitask and prioritize assignments. The ideal person would be discrete and professional, able to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience is required.
Duties include: consulting, reviewing, researching, preparing, and drafting complaints, notices, petitions, motions, and responses, as well as attending hearings.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the Bar in Illinois
Experience in private practice is required
Knowledgeable in Word, Outlook, Adobe, and court filing systems
Organized, independent, and able to handle a busy caseload
Has reliable transportation to commute to other surrounding counties
Polish language a plus
