Are you looking to grow your own client base while having the firm to support you? Family law firm with offices in downtown Chicago seeks a confident attorney experienced in handling the multi-faceted area of family law cases. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding law firm. We are searching for a Partner who will work and collaborate well with our team of attorneys. A partner with the ability to supervise a team of associate(s) and paralegal(s). Having a book of business is preferred but not required. We will encourage your personal marketing as well as your professional growth. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are a must. Preferred candidates will have at least 10-15 years of experience in family law and bring valuable courtroom experience with an ability to be lead person from beginning of case through trial while having comfortable and compassionate client rapport. Your experience should encompass all family law related matters including allocation of parental responsibilities, dissolution of marriages, post decree modifications, drafting pre- and post-marital agreements, and orders of protection. Necessary skills should include negotiating and drafting agreements, drafting pleadings, conducting and analyzing complex financial discovery and court appearances for pretrials, case management conferences, hearings and trials.
