At least 3-4 years of experience in municipal law is absolutely required. Candidates must have excellent writing skills, be adept at public speaking, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates must also have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and be a member of the Illinois State Bar.
