Paralegal/Case Manager

Walner Law is a fast-paced personal injury law firm that's been in the business since 1973. As a paralegal/ case manager, you're at the center of the action of a dynamic Legal Team. Our staff is the driving force behind the success of your Legal team, ready to roll up their sleeves and work collaboratively across the team to juggle deadlines, manage simultaneous projects on a variety of legal matters and jump in wherever needed to help your team. Work alongside the litigation counsel and collaborate with the team and others.

Conduct fact-finding investigations, gather information, identify documents/data to preserve and/or collect in response to discovery, regulatory agency requests, or internal investigations.

Coordinate with the external legal counsel on specific assignments, review preliminary advice, and assist with providing internal recommendations.

Support or drive case management such as workflows, task lists, status updates, timing, and overall case organization, along with projects related to tooling, process, or policy improvements.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of litigation support experience as a Paralegal or Case Manager at a law firm or in-house legal department.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience effectively and efficiently managing numerous cases and/or projects under time-sensitive deadlines with little to no oversight.

Experience working on internet technology, regulatory investigations, or general litigation.

Knowledge of Microsoft Products, Neos, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Excellent communication skills and a commitment to professionalism and collegiality.

Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment.
