Patent / Trademark Docket Coordinator
Prestigious Chicago law firm has an immediate opening for a Patent Trademark Docket Coordinator with 3+ years of experience with PCT (Patent Corporation Treaty) and USPTO filing experience. Foreign prosecution experience is desired. You must be able to work independently and must be able to work well with the attorneys. Perform a variety of duties to assist the firm in tracking critical due dates and processing all papers being sent to the Unites States Patent and Trademark Office & PCT applications according to established firm policies and procedures. These duties include, but are not limited to, analyzing each piece of United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) prosecution-related correspondence that the firm receives, determining and docketing any due dates associated with the USPTO correspondence, maintenance of prosecution files, including keeping information on the file complete and accurate. You will prepare various USPTO forms for attorney signature, monitor and maintain separate docket for all issue fee payments and prepare accounting forms for billing clients.
